The Problem of Evil
The problem of evil is a major topic of philosophy that theists have attempted to explain through theodicies. The problem can be put into the form of a question: Can the presence of evil in the world correspond with the existence of a Judaic-Christian God who is all-knowing, all powerful and totally good?
